The giffgaff Recycle Team
Alongside my great colleagues consisting of Jack, Zak, Samantha and Rachael, we created a proof of concept animation for a social media and broadcast campaign based around a unique cast of characters following the key steps of the Giffgaff Recycle scheme. We wanted to develop these characters using the client’s branding elements, and personify the recycle process - adding the disruptive flavour of character animation to Giffgaff’s existing campaigns.
This campaign would consist of a series of short 2D animated sequences that can be used as assets across social media platforms, being compiled into a 20 second broadcast ad. We created a series of mockups to demonstrate the potential application of this solution, working as Instagram Stories and animated stickers allowing the public to communicate the recycle steps themselves.
